Cruise Ship Transport in Napier

Electric Executive provides private shore transport for cruise passengers arriving at Napier Port, collecting guests at the port gate or the cruise shuttle stop in Napier city and returning them at least 60 minutes before all-aboard. Private chauffeur hire is from $160 NZD per hour, GST inclusive, with a fully electric Mercedes-Benz fleet carrying up to 11 guests. Guests on a limited port day have visited four wineries including Craggy Range, Elephant Hill, Church Road and Mission Estate in a single afternoon.

  • Cape Kidnappers and Te Awanga: coastal drive, gannet colony viewpoints, Clearview or Elephant Hill lunch. 4 to 5 hours.
  • Art Deco Napier and Ahuriri: short private loop for guests who prefer a gentle day. 2 to 3 hours.
  • Havelock North village and Arataki Honey: 3 to 4 hours. Note that private tastings at some suppliers are unavailable on cruise days; Electric Executive confirms availability before booking.

Timing and ship departure

Electric Executive monitors the published cruise schedule for Napier and plans each itinerary around your ship's all-aboard time, stated in New Zealand time. If the port day is shortened, the itinerary is adjusted and you are returned first.

Vehicles and inclusions

Mercedes-Benz eVito (7 guests), Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (11 guests) or BYD Atto 3 (3 guests), each with Wi-Fi, chilled water, refreshments and device charging. Wine purchases travel securely in the boot. Wheelchair-accessible arrangements are available with notice.

Pricing in NZD

Private hire from $160 NZD per hour. A typical 5 hour winery day for a group of up to 7 is from $800 NZD per vehicle, not per person. Winery tasting fees and lunch are additional and payable directly to each venue.
