For a relaxed lunch with wine, our suggested Craggy Range Long Lunch itinerary: a 4.5 hour private charter at $1,080 NZD per vehicle, with lunch at Craggy Range Restaurant on top. The Signature Table with matched wines is about $279 NZD per person, paid to Craggy Range, and a table depends on availability. For a shorter port day, Te Mata Peak and Craggy Range Tasting: a 4 hour charter at $960 NZD per vehicle, plus the $50 NZD per person Wine Experience.

Often, but not always. Your ship needs to be in port for at least six and a half hours, and Craggy Range must have a table. Lunch is bookable from 12:00pm New Zealand time and takes two and a half to three hours for The Signature Table. Tables book out on cruise days and in peak season, so we check availability and confirm your table with you before we take a deposit. Lunch is not included in the charter price.

The Craggy Range Wine Experience runs at 10:30am, 12:00pm, 1:30pm, 3:00pm and 4:30pm New Zealand time, for about one hour, at $50 NZD per person. Places are limited on cruise days, so we book your session first and time the rest of the day around it.

Te Mata Peak and Craggy Range Tasting, or Art Deco Napier and the Artisan Producers. Both take four hours and suit a ship in port for six hours or more.

No. They are suggested itineraries on a private charter. The price covers the vehicle and driver only. You may swap, add or drop a stop, and we re-time the day around your ship. Lunches and tastings are additional and depend on each venue's availability.

At the cruise shuttle drop off point in Napier city, where the ship's shuttle sets passengers down. Private groups of six or more can be collected ship-side on the wharf with 48 hours' notice.

Yes. We check the Napier Port schedule for your ship, plan every itinerary around its all-aboard time, stated in New Zealand time, and return you to the cruise shuttle stop well ahead of it.

We shorten the itinerary to fit, and you are never charged for the delay. If the port day is shortened, we adjust the itinerary and you are returned first.

We refund your payment in full, less any tasting or entry fees already committed on your behalf and any international bank transfer fees incurred in either direction. The same applies if the cruise line or the port cancels the call.

Yes. On private hire you set the itinerary and we follow it, so we return you whenever you choose. The two hour minimum applies.

A private vehicle and driver costs from $960 NZD per vehicle for four hours to $1,680 NZD for seven hours, GST included, in the Executive Fleet for up to 7 guests. Lunch, tastings and entry fees are additional. Private chauffeur hire for your own itinerary is $240 NZD per hour, per vehicle and not per person, with a two hour minimum. Hosted Great Wine Capital tours are priced per person: from $225 NZD for the four hour Discovery, from $445 NZD for the five hour Signature, and from $695 NZD for the six hour Artisan Producers Tour.

No. Every Electric Executive tour and shore excursion is private: the vehicle and host are yours alone. Our hosted tours are priced per person for your party, from two guests, and are set out on our Hawke's Bay tours page.

Up to 11 guests in the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, up to 7 in the fully electric Mercedes-Benz eVito, and up to 3 in the fully electric BYD Atto 3 or Tesla Model Y. Larger groups travel in more than one vehicle, by quotation.
