We price arrivals above departures because an arrival includes the personal greeting at the arrival gate, active flight monitoring, and the complimentary grace period. A departure runs to a time and an address confirmed in advance.

- Waiting beyond the grace period: billed in 15 minute increments at $240 NZD per hour

- Private jet and FBO terminal arrivals: $80 NZD in the Executive Fleet, $95 NZD in the Group Sprinter
- Child restraint seat $25 NZD, booster seat $15 NZD, wheelchair $35 NZD, each per day
- Pickups before 07:00 or between 20:00 and 22:00 New Zealand time: $120 NZD. Pickups 22:00 to midnight: $160 NZD. Pickups after midnight: $240 NZD
- New Zealand public holidays: $200 NZD. Peak season, 21 December to 6 January: 10% on the transfer rate
- Card payments carry a 3.5 percent surcharge

How the transfer works
From the arrival gate to the lodge.
We track your flight
Your chauffeur tracks your inbound flight and meets you at the arrival gate with a name board when you land.
We load, you settle
We load your luggage while you settle into the vehicle with a hot towel, chilled water and refreshments.
The coast road
The drive follows the coast past Haumoana and Te Awanga before turning inland through the Cape Kidnappers gates.
Vehicles
Executive Fleet, up to 7 guests. Fully electric BYD Atto 3 (up to 3 guests), fully electric Tesla Model Y (up to 3 guests), fully electric Mercedes-Benz eVito (up to 7 guests, or 4 with full luggage), and Mercedes-Benz V-Class (up to 5 guests, or 4 with full luggage, diesel).
Group Sprinter, up to 11 guests. Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (diesel), individual leather reclining seats, 7 large cases plus 7 small cases.

Rosewood Cape Kidnappers sits at the end of a 35 kilometre dead-end road, so every transfer carries a two hour minimum vehicle allocation in each direction.

We book return transfers to Hawke's Bay Airport the same way. Payment is by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay) or by invoice to your hotel account where arranged.

How much is a transfer from Napier Airport to Rosewood Cape Kidnappers?
An arrival transfer is $520 NZD in the Executive Fleet for up to 7 guests, or $600 NZD in the Group Sprinter for up to 11 guests. A departure transfer is $480 NZD or $550 NZD. All fares are per vehicle and include GST.
Can you transfer us from Cape Kidnappers to Napier wineries or restaurants?
Yes. Each way to dinner, lunch or a wine tasting is $300 NZD in the Executive Fleet or $370 NZD in the Group Sprinter, with a pickup time confirmed at the time of booking. If you would rather keep the vehicle and chauffeur at your disposal, our return package holds them for up to three hours at $960 NZD in the Executive Fleet or $1,100 NZD in the Group Sprinter, and no pickup time is needed. Beyond three hours, $240 NZD per hour applies.
Is the vehicle fully electric?
Our fleet is electric-first. The BYD Atto 3, Tesla Model Y and Mercedes-Benz eVito are fully electric, and every journey starts on a full charge. The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and V-Class are diesel, and we use them for larger groups and longer distances.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation is free up to 7 days before pickup. Between 7 days and 48 hours before pickup, 50 percent of the fare applies. Inside 48 hours, or in the event of a no-show, 100 percent of the fare applies. Date and time changes are complimentary up to 48 hours before travel, subject to availability. Final pickup times must be confirmed 24 hours before travel, and a change inside 24 hours is treated as a late cancellation.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
We monitor your flight. Arrivals carry a complimentary grace period of 30 minutes for domestic flights and 90 minutes for international flights from touchdown. Beyond that, we bill waiting in 15 minute increments at $240 NZD per hour.
