A wedding car with Electric Executive costs from $225 NZD for a drop-off, or from $750 NZD for a drop-off and return. We price per vehicle rather than per guest, and every price includes GST. The Mercedes-Benz V-Class carries 5 guests and the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter carries 11.
We carry the couple, the wedding party and close family between the getting-ready address, the ceremony, the photographs and the reception. Your chauffeur works to the timings you set with your planner or celebrant, and we confirm every one of them in writing, in New Zealand time, before the day.
We serve vineyard, garden and coastal venues across Havelock North, Hastings, Napier and Cape Kidnappers, and we travel further on request.

Covers the delivery run and one return run, each up to 30km, and includes the evening loading on the late run. We release the vehicle between the two, so you pay for the journeys rather than the hours in between.

Every wedding price, stated plainly.
Per vehicle, in New Zealand dollars, GST included. We price weddings as packages rather than by the hour, so the figure you are quoted is the figure you are invoiced.

A booked return runs to a time we confirm with your venue. An on-call return means you call us when you are ready, inside an agreed window of up to two and a half hours.

Your chauffeur and vehicle stay with the wedding from the first pickup to the last drop-off, with no pickup times to agree and no waiting charge at any point. Two hour minimum.
What every wedding booking includes
- A vehicle and chauffeur allocated to your party alone for every run in your package
- White ribbon dressing on the vehicle, and bows on the seat backs, at no charge
- The vehicle detailed on the morning of the wedding, and your chauffeur in position 15 minutes early
- A run sheet agreed with you in writing, with the return time confirmed directly with your venue
- Chilled glass-bottled still and sparkling water on board
- Individual leather seating, a climate-controlled cabin, and high-speed Wi-Fi
- A suited chauffeur who assists with dresses, doors and umbrellas
- A vehicle of equal or higher specification at no extra cost if we need to substitute
What costs extra, with the figures
- Waiting on a booked return: 15 minutes grace from the booked time, then $200 NZD per hour in the V-Class and $275 NZD per hour in the Sprinter, billed in 15 minute increments
- An on-call return in place of a booked time: $150 NZD
- A second return run: $450 NZD in the V-Class, $525 NZD in the Sprinter
- Any run before 07:00 or after 20:00 New Zealand time: $150 NZD. The drop-off and return package already includes this on the late run
- New Zealand public holidays: $250 NZD
- Peak season, 21 December to 6 January: 15%
- Small luggage trailer, for gifts, flowers and equipment: $90 NZD. Large trailer: $180 NZD
- Child restraint seat $25 NZD, booster seat $15 NZD, wheelchair $35 NZD, each per day
- Card payments carry a 3.5 percent surcharge

Send us your wedding date, your venues and the size of your party using the form below. We hold one wedding per vehicle per day, so early dates are worth confirming.
We build the run sheet
We agree each pickup address and time with you, then we confirm the return time directly with your venue. Venues know exactly how their evening runs and when it ends, so your car arrives when you are ready to leave rather than an hour early. You receive the finished run sheet by email, with every time stated in New Zealand time.
We arrive early
Your chauffeur is in position 15 minutes ahead of the first pickup, with the vehicle dressed and detailed, then follows the run sheet through to the reception and the journey home.

How much does a wedding car cost in Hawke's Bay?
A drop-off costs $225 NZD in the Mercedes-Benz V-Class or $270 NZD in the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter for journeys under 5km, and $300 NZD or $375 NZD for journeys up to 30km. A drop-off and return, which covers the delivery run and one return run, costs $750 NZD in the V-Class and $900 NZD in the Sprinter. A full wedding service with the vehicle held all day costs $1,800 NZD for six hours in the V-Class and $2,250 NZD in the Sprinter. All prices are per vehicle and include GST.
Do you charge per person?
No. We price weddings per vehicle, so the cost is the same whether two people travel or eleven.
Which vehicle do you use for weddings?
Most couples choose the Mercedes-Benz V-Class, a white executive van with individual leather captain's chairs that seats 5 guests in comfort, or the fully electric Mercedes-Benz eVito, which seats 7. For the wider wedding party we use the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, which seats 11 in individual leather reclining seats.
Do you decorate the car?
Yes, and we do not charge for it. We dress the vehicle with white ribbon across the bonnet and bows on the seat backs, and we detail it the morning of the wedding.
What is the difference between a drop-off, a drop-off and return, and a full wedding service?
A drop-off is one journey, for example the getting-ready address to the ceremony. A drop-off and return adds a second journey at the end of the night, and we release the vehicle in between, so you pay for the two journeys rather than the hours between them. A full wedding service holds the vehicle and the chauffeur with your party for the whole day, with no pickup times to agree and no waiting charge at any point. Most couples book the drop-off and return.
How do you decide what time to collect us at the end of the night?
We confirm the return time directly with your venue rather than asking you to predict it. Venues know exactly how their evening runs and when it ends, so your car arrives when you are ready to leave rather than an hour early. The confirmed time goes on your run sheet before the day.
What happens if we run late at the end of the night?
Your chauffeur waits 15 minutes from the booked time at no charge. After that we bill waiting in 15 minute increments, at $200 NZD per hour in the V-Class and $275 NZD per hour in the Sprinter. If you would rather not watch the clock, take an on-call return for $150 NZD and call us when you are ready.
Should we book a return time or leave it on call?
Book a time if your venue has a set finish, which most do. It costs less and your car is waiting when you walk out. Take an on-call return, for $150 NZD, if your evening is open-ended. We hold a window of up to two and a half hours and collect you whenever you call inside it.
Can you make more than one trip on the day?
Yes. A second return run costs $450 NZD in the V-Class and $525 NZD in the Sprinter, which suits families and older guests who prefer to leave before the rest of the party.
Are your wedding cars electric?
Our fleet is electric first. The BYD Atto 3, Tesla Model Y and Mercedes-Benz eVito are fully electric, and we recommend the eVito for couples who want an electric wedding car. The Mercedes-Benz V-Class and Sprinter are diesel, and we use them for larger parties and longer distances.
Do you charge more for a public holiday or over Christmas?
New Zealand public holidays carry a $250 NZD surcharge. Weddings in peak season, from 21 December to 6 January, carry 15 percent on the package price. Any run before 07:00 or after 20:00 New Zealand time carries $150 NZD, which the drop-off and return package already includes on the late run.
What is your cancellation policy?
Wedding hire follows our charter and group terms. Cancellation is free up to 30 days before the wedding date. Between 30 and 14 days, 50 percent applies. Inside 14 days, 100 percent applies. For peak season, 21 December to 6 January, and for event weekends, 50 percent applies from confirmation and rises to 100 percent inside 30 days. Date and time changes are complimentary up to 48 hours before service, subject to availability.
Do you travel outside Hawke's Bay for weddings?
