Do you compete with New Zealand DMCs?
No. We work alongside New Zealand's destination management companies and inbound operators and deliver the Hawke's Bay leg of their programmes under their brand. We never approach a DMC's clients, and an enquiry that reaches us from a client a DMC already represents goes back to that DMC. For international buyers without a New Zealand partner, we act as their destination partner in Hawke's Bay.
How do you price a bespoke programme?
Every proposal shows three lines: vehicles and hosts, experiences priced per person including our sourcing and coordination, and a programme design and management line on bespoke, multi-day and multi-vehicle work. Fully bespoke programmes carry a design fee, credited in full on confirmation within 30 days. Two rounds of revisions are included in each proposal.
How do I get your trade rates?
Email info@elecexec.co.nz with your property or agency name. We send accredited concierges, DMCs, inbound operators and registered travel agents our Trade Programme Guide, with nett rates, the same working day. We do not publish partner terms on this site.
How much notice do you need?
For a single transfer, same day is usually workable during business hours. For multi-vehicle group movements, cruise port days and lodge turnovers, the earlier the better. December and January reach capacity well in advance, and we would rather tell you in October that a date is tight than in December that it is gone.
What happens if a flight is delayed?
We track the flight. Private transfer arrivals carry a grace period of 30 minutes for domestic flights and 90 minutes for international flights from touchdown. We never charge executive taxi waiting time for a delayed flight. If a delay affects a connecting booking, we call you.
Can you handle a group larger than eleven?
Yes. Our own five vehicles carry 29 guests. With our contracted partner fleet, a 41-seat luxury coach, two 18-seat Sprinters and two 7-seat V-Class, we move up to 120 guests in ten vehicles, plus a luggage truck for about 80 cases. Our largest single movement to date is a 40 guest tour. The quote names every vehicle and driver.
Can you build a whole Hawke's Bay stay for our guests?
Yes. Most of our trade work is a complete stay: the arrival transfer, a golf day at Cape Kidnappers, a half-day wine, food or producers tour, dinner transfers and the departure. We build each one from scratch, price every leg and send one confirmation. Send the dates, guest numbers and property to info@elecexec.co.nz.
Do you offer sommelier-designed wine itineraries?
Yes. Our sommelier, Sonja Eberly, designs private wine programmes around each guest's palate, with winemaker-hosted tastings, library vintages and held reservations, and can host the tastings herself. The design service and the final itinerary are priced on application. Email info@elecexec.co.nz with the guest brief.
Can you coordinate a full DMC programme in Hawke's Bay?
Yes. We run the Hawke's Bay leg end to end: transport, venue and winery bookings, private tastings and group lunches, dietary briefings, runsheets agreed with each venue, an on-the-ground host and separate accounts. We quote each programme on request.
Can you create a package for our agency to sell?
Yes. We design and price tour and transfer packages exclusive to your programme, at nett, for your agents to sell under your own product name, including group series and repeat departures.
Do you meet private and charter flights airside?
Yes. For private and charter flights into Hawke's Bay Airport (NPE), we coordinate with the FBO and arrange airside access for each movement, so the vehicle meets the aircraft on the apron. Private jet and FBO movements add $80 NZD in the Executive Fleet, or $95 NZD in the Group Sprinter.
Can you run a winery day for a group of 40?
Yes. In September 2026 we ran a 40 guest incentive group from Rosewood Cape Kidnappers to Black Barn Vineyards for a private five-wine tasting hosted by a Black Barn winemaker, followed by a three-course set menu lunch at Black Barn Bistro, departing 11:00 and returning 15:45 New Zealand time. We collect dietary requirements in advance, agree one runsheet with the venue and keep the tasting, lunch and beverage accounts separate. We quote each group day on request.
What public liability insurance do you hold?
$10 million NZD public liability cover.
How do you vet your drivers?
Every driver is Police vetted, passes driver safety testing and holds a comprehensive first aid certificate.
What happens if a vehicle is unavailable on the day?
We always hold a backup vehicle.
How quickly do you answer a trade quote?
We answer trade quotes within 24 hours, Monday to Friday, New Zealand time, and usually sooner.
Is there an after-hours number?
Yes. One duty number, +64 21 025 87832, by call or WhatsApp.
Do you host famils and site inspections?
Yes, we encourage them. Ask and we will arrange a vehicle and host.
Do you carry golf clubs?
Yes. The Sprinter carries two sets internally. Our covered trailers carry up to 4 sets, or up to 12 sets and 6 large cases in the large trailer. Cape Kidnappers golf transfers are a regular run for us.
Are your vehicles accessible?
Our vehicles are spacious, and we train our chauffeurs in adaptive communication and consent-based assistance. The Sprinter has a powered mobility assistance step and doorway grab handles. Please tell us the requirement at the time of booking and we would be delighted to accommodate it.
Is the whole fleet electric?
No, and we will not claim otherwise. The BYD Atto 3, Tesla Model Y and Mercedes-Benz eVito are fully electric. The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and V-Class are diesel and carry our larger groups, and every vehicle in our contracted partner fleet is diesel. We are electric-first.
What are your operating hours?
04:00 to 23:00 daily, New Zealand time. We arrange earlier and later movements in advance.
