A private transfer with Electric Executive costs from $240 NZD per hour with a two hour minimum, or a fixed fare by route. We price per vehicle, not per guest, and every price includes GST.
Transfers cover every journey beyond a simple airport taxi: restaurants and evening dining, wineries and cellar doors, weddings and events, wedding guest transport, golf at Cape Kidnappers, private jet arrivals, and long-distance travel to Taupo, Wellington and Auckland. We allocate a private chauffeur and vehicle exclusively to you for the duration, so your day runs to your schedule.

Example: an evening restaurant transfer with a drop-off and a later pickup is billed as the two hour minimum, $480 NZD in the Executive Fleet.

Per vehicle, in New Zealand dollars, GST included. Arrivals include a personal greeting at the arrival gate, active flight monitoring, and a complimentary grace period of 30 minutes for domestic arrivals and 90 minutes for international arrivals. Departures run to a time and address confirmed in advance, which is why we price them below arrivals.

Each-way dinner and tasting rates assume a pickup time confirmed at the time of booking. Where we hold the vehicle and chauffeur at the venue for an open-ended return, the hourly rate applies from drop-off to pickup.

What costs extra, with the figures
- Small luggage trailer, up to 4 sets of golf clubs and 3 small cases: $90 NZD
- Large luggage trailer, up to 12 sets of golf clubs and 6 large cases: $180 NZD
- Private jet and FBO terminal arrivals: $80 NZD in the Executive Fleet, $95 NZD in the Group Sprinter
- Pickups before 07:00 or between 20:00 and 22:00 New Zealand time: $120 NZD
- Pickups 22:00 to midnight: $160 NZD. Pickups after midnight: $240 NZD. Each leg takes the band of its booked pickup time
- New Zealand public holidays: $200 NZD. Peak season, 21 December to 6 January: 10% on the transfer rate
- Child restraint seat $25 NZD, booster seat $15 NZD, wheelchair $35 NZD, each per day
- Card payments carry a 3.5 percent surcharge

Many of our guests arrive with a day planned in ChatGPT, Gemini or another AI tool. We would be delighted to run it. An AI tool can write the itinerary. It cannot hold a tasting time, confirm a lunch table or know that a cellar door closes early that day.

When the day changes
What happens when a day goes sideways.
An itinerary is only a plan. A good day depends on what happens when that plan meets a delayed flight, a closed cellar door or a vehicle that cannot run. We plan for each of those before you arrive.
- A backup vehicle, always. We hold a backup vehicle on every operating day. If a vehicle cannot run, another one collects you.
- Your flight, monitored. We track your flight and start complimentary waiting from actual landing: 30 minutes for a domestic flight and 90 minutes for an international flight.
- A closed venue, replaced. If a venue on a published tour closes on your day, we substitute an equivalent award-winning estate: Black Barn for Craggy Range, Mission Estate for Church Road, and Te Mata Estate or Black Barn for Smith & Sheth, choosing one not already on your route.
- A person on the phone. Our duty number, +64 21 025 87832, answers by call or WhatsApp on the day.
- Vetted, trained hosts. Every host is Police vetted, passes driver safety testing and holds a comprehensive first aid certificate.
- Licensed and insured. Small Passenger Service Licence 0332519, $10 million NZD public liability cover, and Qualmark Silver.

How much does a private transfer cost in Hawke's Bay?
From $240 NZD per hour in the Executive Fleet, which carries up to 7 guests, or $276 NZD per hour in the Group Sprinter, which carries up to 11, with a two hour minimum. Fixed fares apply on set routes, for example $300 NZD from Hawke's Bay Airport to a Napier hotel on arrival. All prices are per vehicle and include GST.
Is there a minimum booking?
For private transfers charged by the hour, two hours. Fixed-fare journeys have no minimum.
Do you charge per person?
No. We price transfers and hourly hire per vehicle. Hosted tours are the exception, and we price those per person.
Why does an arrival cost more than a departure?
An arrival includes a personal greeting at the arrival gate, active flight monitoring, and a grace period of 30 minutes domestic or 90 minutes international. A departure runs to a time and an address confirmed in advance.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
We monitor your flight. Arrivals carry a grace period of 30 minutes for domestic flights and 90 minutes for international flights from touchdown, after which we bill waiting in 15 minute increments at the hourly rate.
Can my hotel be invoiced?
Yes. We invoice partner hotels, travel agencies and corporate accounts per trip or monthly.
What is your cancellation policy for private transfers?
Cancellation is free up to 7 days before pickup. Between 7 days and 48 hours, 50 percent of the fare applies. Inside 48 hours, or for a no-show, 100 percent applies. Date and time changes are complimentary up to 48 hours before service, subject to availability. Final pickup times must be confirmed 24 hours before service, and a change inside 24 hours is treated as a late cancellation.
What is the difference between a private transfer and an executive taxi?
An executive taxi is functional business travel: a pre-booked, fixed-fare journey between Hawke's Bay Airport and a workplace or hotel, for up to 3 passengers and 2 cases, priced on the executive taxi page. A private transfer holds a named vehicle class exclusively for your party, meets you at the arrival gate with a hot towel and refreshments, and carries the longer grace period. A private transfer also includes a fully hosted arrival experience: a Napier city Art Deco tour, sightseeing on the way, and additional stops to suit your party.
